However, the combat now feels much more realistic and the campaigns are more satisfying than before. By embracing the dark side this feel has been lost. One of the things that made the Sands of Time so endearing was the storybook atmosphere of the game. There is no doubt that this is a different game rather than a variation on a theme and plenty of new challenges await players. The game looks just as good as the original, while presenting a very clearly defined darker edge that is very appealing. The Warrior Within puts a new twist on the Prince of Persia story and presents players with long campaigns that are a lot of fun to complete.
